Help Test ThinkUp’s First Chrome Extension

Posted by gina

If you’re a member of ThinkUp’s mailing list and you’re using Chrome, you now have tester access to a packaged build of the ThinkUp Notifier Chrome extension. This is an alpha Chrome extension which notifies you about new ThinkUp insights from your installation as they are generated.

Once you install it in your browser, to use it, enter your installation URL, login email address, and ThinkUp API key into Notifier’s settings, and you’ll start receiving notifications. The extension also adds a handy ThinkUp button to your Chrome toolbar, with dropdown access to your ThinkUp stream.

That looks like this:

The extension is currently an alpha build only available to ThinkUp mailing list members. It has console debug logging enabled, zero error checking, and not a whole lot of testing behind it. Brave power users: please give it a try, and submit bug reports and pull requests to the ThinkUp Notifier GitHub repository. Thanks.
