Adobe has some very nice people working for its company, and they make some great products. But this headline about the Adobe Social product may be exactly what we’re not doing with ThinkUp.
Now, I get it — there are organizations and companies where this is the perfect way to help someone make a decision about a tool for managing social media.
But what we’ve learned in the past couple of years of making ThinkUp is that we want to make a tool that helps you get insights into your use of social media based on the idea that you’re a person. Even if you’re managing an institution’s Twitter account or Facebook page, you’re probably never gonna ask yourself, “Did ThinkUp ever earn all 4 Facebook API badges?”
